This plugin allows users to send messages to each other, using an interface and features similar to webmail clients. Messages are tied to courses, users can only contact other participants in courses they are enrolled. Reading/sending of messages is done through a new item in the navigation block called "My Mail". Quickmail is Moodle’s version of email. To send an email to all of your students or classmates/faculty members, you would use Quickmail.

Moodle eMailTest allows administrators to test Moodle's email system. A trace of the SMTP dialogue will be displayed if the email message cannot be sent for any reason. The eMail Test for Moodle plugin does not store any personal data about any user.
